Mine does like the Federals and reloads at a solid 1200 fps. Shot it for a year as is, and shot it extremely well one of the best handling guns I own. When the Carrier is latched down, the Carrier Dog engages the Operating Handle, holding the Breech Block open. Pushing the button releases the Carrier and the Dog loses it's hold on the Handle.
