Cricut calibration hack

I've done the calibration about a thousand times and every correction simply moves the cut 1/2mm in one or both axies. This tells me that the Maker is designed to be accurate only down to 1/2mm. The major issue here is why Cricut doesn't account for this in Print & Cut by merely printing the image slightly offset in the direction the cut leans.
