May 12, 2011 · My favorite method of demilling the stubs is to use a Dremel and a drill press to remove the old rivets. First I grind the heads of the rivets flat, then I carefully center punch and drill with a small diameter bit to put a hole all the way through each rivet, the I use a 1/4 inch bit to drill off the heads down into the stub.
