So, when I took off the cap there were three springs in three separate recessed holes. The cap was holding them down against 3 little balls. I can personally attest that 300-350 is fine for the mighty Getrag. Pretty sure the guys pushing 700whp are still using the stock transmissions too, but I could be wrong.
