5. Hi, I bought a 1974 Gibson les Paul custom 20th anniversary guitar from a dealer online. The guitar doesn’t have a serial number on the back of the headstock which surprised me. then I looked up others online and it seemed like some guitars of the same year were missing serial numbers. Why would this be the case, any info appreciated.
