If Glock made a 15 round OEM mag for the 43X or 48, it would not make a difference to me, because I would not trade my EDC choice, a WCV Gen 5 Glock 19 (or any Gen 4 or 5 Glock 19 for that matter) for a 43X or 48 as an EDC choice., I expect the Dagger™ Micro 15-round G43X/G48 magazine will be under $20. And no need for a steel magazine release. A G43X/G48 frame is approximately 0.75" taller than a G43 frame. I bet you could take a 0.5" off the bottom of a Dagger™ Micro magazine and make it 13 rounds. Take off 1" and you should have 11 rounds., Glock’s 43X magazine fits flush with the bottom of the magazine well. It would hang up during reloads to the point where it wouldn't insert into the gun because it was hanging up on the mag catch. I havnt take my mag catch out to see if it dinged it up, all other mags are working.
