Avalanches on the Going-to-the-Sun Road_2 This storymap highlights the partnership between the National Park Service and the U.S. Geological Survey in opening the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park., Vehicle Reservation Areas. In 2024, a vehicle reservation is required for three areas of the park: Going-to-the-Sun Road (coming from the west), the North Fork, and Many Glacier from 6 am to 3 pm.
