Gsg firefly problems

Jul 21, 2016 · GSG 1911/22 problem. My GSG seems to have one nagging problem, failure to go into battery. I've checked and what is holding it open, that fraction of an inch, is the extractor. It hits the face of the extractor slot, and stops the slide just short of battery. If I just put my thumb on back of slide it goes into place easily.

Jul 25, 2013 · My GSG will not fire. The other day I completely stripped my GSG 1911 to do a thorough cleaning and lubing, including taking the firing pin assembly out of the slide. I sanded the slide grooves with fine sand paper to get the slide action smoother as suggested in several Youtube videos on 'tuning' this gun.
