The trees are ginormous, with strangler figs often slowly enveloping them, and lianas criss-crossing and connecting the canopy to the forest floor. The flight time between Mulu (MZV) and Sandakan (SDK) is around 4h 31m and covers a distance of around 415 km. This includes an average layover time of around 2h 38m. Services are operated by Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia and Firefly.
