How to match pottery barn stain

The Pottery Barn vanity I am using is meranti wood (I won't be using that) and "espresso" colored stain. I will be making a tub deck from plywood and am hoping that I can stain it to approximate the look of the vanity. I realize that I won't get a perfect match, but I was hoping that someone may have tried it already!
