Scheduled rides are a joke. "Priority Pickup" is just disguised price gouging. Deleted Lyft today. I'm not a "customer is always right" believer but in this case, they were wrong. I scheduled a ride a few hours in advance. A few minutes after my pickup window, no one had even accepted the ride yet. So I cancelled.

The way priority pick up works is the driver will be on their way to pick up a rider. Then someone requests priority pickup and it reroutes that same driver to come pick you up instead. Now the drivers time spent driving to the first rider is wasted and they are spending extra time to come pick up the second rider, all with no pay.Priority is a scam. Drivers aren't employees of Lyft but this set up acts like we are. To look best for your clients do a scheduled ride or call an Uber.
