Natera only billed my insurance $3900 for NIPT (it ended up being completely covered) but they billed my insurance $12,737 for my Horizon carrier screening that my OB wanted me to get. Seeing a bill that big definitely stressed me out, but ultimately my insurance adjusted the claim to about $1300 and I only ended up paying $129.
