Hi everyone! Just got the pass a few minutes ago!!! I wanted to post here to help anybody who has anxiety about not doing super duper great on the new free 120. I was always told it was a confidence booster to take a few days before the exam and boy did I feel like it did the opposite.

This is especially true for the newer NBMEs where there is not yet well-developed answers explanations. In my experience, the actual Step 1 exam is more similar to UWorld and the free 120 questions. I took the new free 120 and got a 58% 10 days ago, and I took the old free 120 offline today and got 72.5%. Wanted to see if other people had similar experiences. Every time they have ever retired old practice materials and released new ones, the new stuff has been markedly more difficult. Unfortunately this accurately reflects the exam.Some people I’ve read said that the new 120 is similar, but I didn’t really feel that way.
